LOCAL LODGE MOTION TO INCREASE DUES
At the March 05, 2024 membership meeting there was a motion by the floor to increase the union dues by $5.00. This motion was seconded and was voted with a majority all in favor. The rules that follow this motion is as: IAMAW CONSTITUTION -Article I sec.7
“”Except as otherwise required by this Sec., in all other cases, any changes in the established rates of dues proposed by a L.L. shall be adopted only after approval by a majority vote of the members of the L.L. in good standing in attendance and voting by secret ballot at a general or special membership meeting and after reasonable notice upon the question’,,,
Please come to the next union membership meeting on Tuesday May 07, 2024 at 1800. There will be a discussion and then a vote on the motion to increase the union dues.
