Please be advised that at the February 3rd, 2026 General Monthly Membership Meeting, Local 2323 will be accepting nominations for Delegates to the District 140 Convention. The Convention will take place in Toronto, Ontario in October 2026 (actual dates to be determined)
Eligibility:
Members in attendance may accept nomination. Nominees not in attendance will be required to submit their acceptance in writing to the Recording Secretary to be read out at the nomination meeting (an example would be our Ottawa members). They may be mailed, faxed or handed in person to the Recording Secretary at rs@iamaw2323.ca and local 2323 Vice-President at
vp@iamaw2323.ca
Members accepting nomination must have attended at least 50% of the Regular Local Lodge Meetings held during the 12-month period ending the date of the close of nominations that their scheduled shifts, employee assignments, vacations, verified illness, Local-District-Grand Lodge business shall allow. Proof of attendance shall consist of signing the register by each member attending the Regular Local Lodge meetings and said register shall be in the custody of the Recording Secretary.
