Nominations for Five (5) Shop Stewards – Local Lodge 2323

Nominations and Acceptances must be in writing and sent to the Recording Secretary by either handing in person, faxing or via Canada Post to 2580 Drew Road Suite 202, Mississauga ON L4T 3M5. Note: As per Local Lodge Policy – emails will not be accepted.

Written nominations and acceptances will be received by the Local Lodge until December 31, 2015.
If more than five 5 members nominate and accept then elections shall be required. The election will be conducted on a date to be determined.
Term of Office: Three Years January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2018.
Local Lodge Expectations: All Local Lodge Shop Stewards will be required to identify themselves to the membership by visibly displaying their Shop Steward Badge at all times while on the job. Shop Stewards not willing to comply with this requirement may lose their position prior to the completion of their term. As per Local Lodge Bylaws Article VIII, Section 1 (c), stewards may be required to relinquish their position in the event they change work locations/shifts.
Please note: A written nomination and acceptance must be received from all members including current shop stewards wishing to be shop stewards for the term of January 01, 2016 to December 31, 2018.
