Nominations are now being accepted for the following position:

One (1) YOW Shop Committee Member

Nominations and acceptance of nominations should be submitted in writing by fax (905-678-0034), in person, by
Canada Post, or emailed to the Recording Secretary (rs@iamaw2323.ca).
Nomination acceptance must be received no later September 29, 2020 at 1800.

Eligibility:
Members In attendance may accept nomination. Nominees not In attendance will be required to submit their acceptance In writing
to the Recording Secretary to be read out at the nomination meeting. They may be mailed, faxed or handed In person to the
Recording Secretary. Members accepting nomination must have attended at least 50% of the Regular Local Lodge Meetings held
during the 12 month period ending the date of the close of nominations that their scheduled shifts, employee assignments,
vacations, verified Illness, Local/Distrlct/Grand Lodge business shall allow. Proof of attendance shall consist of signing the register
by each member attending the Regular Local Lodge meetings and said register shall be in the custody of the Recording Secretary.

Date of Election: November 3, 2020

Due to the updated COVID-19 social gathering reduction enforced by the Government of
Ontario, we are only permitted 10 people indoor and 25 people outdoor. Therefore we are
unable to provide a safe location to allow in person voting. All YOW Local Lodge 2323 Members
who wish to participate in voting, will be required to request an absentee ballot prior to
October 2 2020. Ballots will be mailed thereafter. Dispensation has been requested and
approved by Grand Lodge.

Absentee ballot requests must be in by Friday, October 2, 2020 by 1600.

Absentee Ballots as per local lodge Bylaws (Article IV)
Members who reside In outlying districts more than 25 miles/40km (driving distance) from the designated balloting place, members
who are either confined because of verified Illness or vacation or on official lAM business, approved by the Local Lodge, District
Lodge or Grand Lodge, or on an employer travel assIgnment, as the case maybe, may request an Absentee Ballot form. Any
member entitled to receive an Absentee Ballot may complete in full the 2323 Absentee Request form available from the 2323
website (www.lamaw2323.ca) and also available In the Shop Committee Offices. The member must forward It to the Recording
Secretary via Canada Post or by handing It In, In person, to the Recording Secretary. Absentee Ballot requests must be sent In
Individual envelopes.

Term of office is three {3} years from January 01, 2021 through December 31, 2023.
