During our last union meeting we had voting on by-laws by the membership who were present. There was a by-law that was submitted that require a secret ballot vote. This by-law will be read back to the members in attendance and voted on by secret ballot voting as per the IAMAW constitution page 129, Article I SEC. 3 The minimum initiation and reinstatement fees for each LL shall not be less than the regular monthly dues of the LL. Whenever increases in the established rates of
initiation or reinstatement fees of a LL. are proposed, they shall be adopted only after
approval by majority vote of the members of the LL in good standing, voting by secret
ballot at a general or special membership meeting and after reasonable notice upon the question.
