SERVICING ASSIGNMENTS – WESTERN REGION – ALBERTA & THE NORTHWEST TERRITORIES, SASKATCHEWAN, MANITOBA & THUNDER BAY -District 140 Bulletin #43

TO ALL IAMAW MEMBERS
SERVICING ASSIGNMENTS

WESTERN REGION –
ALBERTA & THE NORTHWEST TERRITORIES,
SASKATCHEWAN, MANITOBA & THUNDER BAY

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Transportation District 140 has suffered a significant loss of membership and financial revenue due to
the COVID-19 global health pandemic. As a result, Transportation District 140 unfortunately was
faced with temporarily reducing the number of General Chairperson positions within our organization,
per Transportation District 140’s Bylaws, and redistributing servicing responsibilities.

In addition to Brother Kevin Timms’ current Alberta & the Northwest Territories General Chairperson
assignments, and a requirement to carry out the duties of an incumbent Western Region General
Chairperson due to an absence, he has been assigned, effective July 1, 2020, to service the
members working for Air Canada (TMOS, Finance, Clerical in Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon &
Thunder Bay), CAE (Moosejaw & Cold Lake), Swissport (De-Icing & Ground Handling in Winnipeg)
and Wasaya Airlines (Customer Service Agents, Ground Handling, Cargo & GSE in Thunder Bay).

Below is Brother Timms’ contact information:

Email: ktimms@iam140.ca
Cell: 1-403-921-8140

In Solidarity,

Fred Hospes, President & Directing General Chairperson
Transportation District 140, IAMAW
