TO ALL IAM UNION MEMBERS AIR CANADA TMOS NEGOTIATIONS
RE: COMMITTEE UPDATE
Dear Brothers, Sisters and Siblings,
The General Chairpersons went down last week to W3 to meet with the Tech-Ops sub
committees to build our proposals and draft contract language. Your committees work hard
and long all week to finish developing final language that best represents the memberships’
wants and needs based on the data collected through the surveys.
On behalf of the General Chairpersons and the President and General Directing Chairperson
and the whole District 140, we would like to thank all the members who were able to
participate. As the holiday season is now upon us, we would like to take a moment
acknowledge all the amount of time and dedication spent away from our families in pursuit of
an industry leading contract. The work they developed is crucial and the sacrifices your
committee members are real.
As of January 2026, your committee will be in a position and within the prescribed timelines
to advise the employer on our intent to bargain. We ask all our members to support our
committee members by staying informed, participating in all meeting and general assemblies
and staying in contact with your sub-committee members.
We would like to wish all of you and your families a very warm and happy holidays and look
forward to leading the industry in 2026.
In solidarity,
Dave Flowers
