TO ALL IAMAW MEMBERS AIR CANADA SHIFT BID GRIEVANCE UPDATE
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Your Union sought a resolution through the arbitration process and the case was heard by Arbitrator Schmidt over multiple hearing dates. The Arbitrator sided with the Union’s position and the arbitration process has now concluded and payments will be made to affected members who were working in 2020.
The amounts will differ from work location to work location based on the infraction within that particular location.
Members that were working at the time and that were impacted will be receiving their payment on an upcoming pay and no later than September 13, 2024.
We appreciate the membership’s patience and support throughout this process and are pleased to see that justice prevailed.
