STRIKE ACTION
VANCOUVER AIRPORT

Dear Brothers & Sisters:

On August 30, 2013 at 12:01am, the Public Service Alliance of Canada / Union of Canadian Transportation Employees Local 20221 (PSAC/UCTE) will be in a legal position to strike their employer (Vancouver Airport Authority).

PSAC/UCTE Members provide key services such as emergency response, international arrivals customer care, runway maintenance, airfield & approach lighting, passenger loading operations, maintenance and administrative services at the Vancouver Airport (YVR).

Please be reminded that our Members have legally, binding Collective Agreements in place with their respective employers.

If you feel that your safety is at risk by crossing the picket line, you should call your Manager. It is the employer’s responsibility to provide you with safe passage to your work location.

Please ensure that you have your Manager’s correct contact information.

In Solidarity,

Fred Hospes,
President & Directing General Chairperson
