ACM Update
Brothers and Sisters,
Aircraft fin 632 was contracted out to Avianor in YMX
on November 1, 2016 without our knowledge or
agreement. Air Canada did not inform us until after
the aircraft was in YMX. The provisions of
Article 20.07 were not followed. We have grieved this
violation and requested the employer cease this
practice immediately and indefinitely.
Moving forward, under agreement with the Shop
Committee, the B767 Get Well program will include a
pre-planned overtime process. This voluntary overtime
process will allow our members to sign up for these
maintenance visits well in advance.
