Strike at Air Canada
Dear Sisters and Brothers:
After months and months of hard bargaining, IAMAW members working at Air Canada will be in a legal strike position as of 00:01 hours Eastern Standard Time next Monday, March 12.
We ask you to respect your Sisters and Brothers who are on strike.
If your employer has been approached by Air Canada and asks you to do work that you would not normally be performing, we ask you to not agree and inform them that you do not do struck work.
We will be asking all unions affiliated with the Canadian Labour Congress to support us by doing the same.
