Negotiations Update Bulletin #18

May 3, 2012

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

The Labour Minister has appointed Arbitrator Michel Picher to deal with our negotiations with Air Canada, as outlined in Bill C-33.
The letter from the Minister is on the following page.

The parties have agreed to meet with the arbitrator for a 10-day period in order to either finalize an agreement or to prepare their case for the final offer selection arbitration, as required under Bill C-33, in the event that no agreement can be reached.

We will be meeting with the Company and Arbitrator Picher for direct negotiations on the following dates:
– May 8 to 11
– May 16 to 26

We will continue to keep you informed.

In solidarity,

Your IAMAW / TMOS Negotiations Committee
