Negotiations Update -Bulletin #3

April 4, 2011

Your Negotiations Team spent the week of March 28 – April 1, 2011 in Vancouver in preparation for this round of negotiations with Air Canada.

This week, your Negotiations Team met internally to continue working on formulating an Agenda for the Joint meetings with the Company. There was a lot of good healthy debate as we worked through the items from your suggestions.

On March 21, 2011, the Notice to Bargain letter was sent to Air Canada and Aveos Fleet Performance, under Section 50 of the Canada Labour Code to open negotiations for your Collective Agreement.

The first meeting with Air Canada and Aveos Fleet Performance has been set for April 7, 2011, in Toronto.

We will keep you updated throughout this process.

In Solidarity,

Mike Ambler, General Chairperson, District 140
Negotiations Chairperson
