Semi-Annual Line Station Meetings
Sisters & Brothers:
IAMAW Local Lodge 2323 will be hosting two Membership Meetings in Ottawa at the Days Inn
to provide our YOW Members a review since our last meeting. In attendance will be Local
Lodge President Dave Flowers, a Financial and Budget Report read by Secretary Treasurer
John Smiley. There will also be a Report given by General Chairperson Paul Lefebvre. Your
Shop Committee consisting of Gary Doherty and Denis Cayer will be present along with your
Executive Board Representative Glen Milmine.
A reminder to Stewards about this meeting, that the Local Lodge Bylaw; Article XVIII- Funds
Section 6 (d) will now apply to the Ottawa Line Station as below:
In order to receive this allowance the Toronto (YYZ) based members must attend at least 50% of the regular monthly union meetings held by the Local Lodge during the months he/she has had in office, that their scheduled shifts, assignments, verified illness, Local, District, and Grand Lodge shall allow.
In order to receive this allowance the Ottawa (YOW) member must attend (1) meeting on each
individual occasion when membership meetings are held at the Ottawa Station, that their
scheduled shifts, assignments, vacation, verified illness, Local/District/Grand Lodge business
shall allow.
All IAMAW members are welcome, no RSVP necessary.
