Vacation Bid
The Shop Committee met with the company on Tuesday November 12 to discuss the up-coming vacation bid. The company informed us at this meeting the vacation bid would commence on Nov 20, 2013 and the bid sheets would be emailed on Friday, November 15. When the Union received a copy of the bid list we noticed numerous errors and contacted the company to have the list corrected. A number of other issues have been brought to our attention such as bidding week 53, GHO etc. and therefore the vacation bid will be postponed until the earliest possible time that these issues can be resolved.
