ALL AIR CANADA TMOS MEMBERS AT ACM

The position of STOC Coordinator was tabled as an agenda item during this last round of negotiations and no agreement was reached.

The company was informed in January that the position was reverting to them and as such, they needed to inform those working in the STOC that this position was considered management.

This has not taken place so we must now inform you that since this item did not reach agreement nor was it brought back at anytime during the process under Bill C33, that effective the date of Arbitrator Picher’s award, you are now acting in a management capacity and the terms under the Collective Agreement Article 16.06.03, apply.

Should you no longer wish to work in the STOC Centre acting as a manager, you are within your rights to request to return to a crew immediately.

Please be aware that the company does not agree with our position above. So we will be advancing this to arbitration to get the Collective Agreement enforced.
