LTD TERMINATION ARBITRATION UPDATE
Dear Brothers and Sisters:
Transportation District 140’s legal counsel is currently in the process of preparing
for the first LTD termination arbitration hearing scheduled for April 20, 2018 before
Arbitrator Mark Brown.
Following the April 20th hearing, it is expected that further arbitration dates will be
scheduled. As such, any members in receipt of Long Term Disability Benefits, who
have received a termination letter from Air Canada, are discouraged from making
any decisions at this time.
As more information becomes available, it will be communicated to the affected
members.
