TO ALL IAMAW MEMBERS AIR CANADA TMOS RE: POLICY COMMITTEE VACANCY
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Vacancy for one (1) additional Member (who is currently sitting on a Local Workplace Health and
Safety Committee as a member of IAMAW Ramp, Cabins, Baggage, or GSE) to sit as a member
on the National Policy Committee.
All interested brothers and sisters are invited to submit a letter of interest to Sally Crowther at the

Although all interested members are invited to apply, preference will be given to B Stations for
this vacancy.
Also, since this is a national posting, the candidates may, if they wish, introduce themselves and
include any experience, or information regarding their qualifications, or interest in this role that
they would like to share.
The Policy Committee is one of six (6) at Air Canada and meets at least four (4) times a year,
both virtually and in person, to exercise the fundamental right of our members to participate.
Therefore, all expressing interest in joining this Committee do so with a commitment to make
themselves available for these and other duties related to this position. This commitment includes
the willingness and ability to travel when needed to other stations/locations for meetings, Risk
Assessments etc.
The term will commence immediately upon selection and acceptance of the chosen candidate.
Applications must be received by no later than February 20, 2024. Applications must be in writing

address (both Air Canada and a second non-Air Canada).

The selection process is scheduled to take place by the end of February 2024.
