TO ALL IAM MEMBERS
AIR CANADA TMOS BARGAINING UPDATE
Brothers, Sisters, and Siblings,
Following the membership’s decision to reject the tentative agreement, the Union has formally advised the employer of the ratification vote outcome and has requested additional bargaining dates so negotiations can continue.
We also want to acknowledge the desires of many of our members regarding the online voting. The International office of the IAM has heard those concerns and has secured a new independent third-party provider, Data On The Spot, to conduct future online votes.
More information will be shared in the coming days regarding registration and the process for upcoming online votes, including any strike vote and future tentative agreement ratification vote, if required.
As soon as we receive confirmation of further meeting dates with the employer or any additional information, we will provide an update to the membership.
In solidarity,
IAM Union District 140 Bargaining Committee
