to remind all members of their rights to take breaks to warm up during the winter months.
You are entitled to breaks to protect yourselves from the cold. Please communicate with
manpower and your manager if you find conditions challenging, and don’t hesitate to exercise
your right to take short breaks to warm up.
It is also crucial to remember that cold weather brings slippery surfaces. Always use designated
walkways and report any unsafe conditions to your area manager and health and safety
committee.
