TO ALL IAMAW MEMBERS GENERAL CHAIRPERSON ELECTION – CENTRAL REGION TECHNICAL OPERATION SUPPLY & LOGISTIC POSITION ELECTION – TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2023 and NAMES OF CANDIDATES
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Be advised as per Article 11.03.08 of the Transportation District 140 Bylaws, the Technical Operations Logistics& Supply Designated Central Region General Chairperson closing date for the “acceptance of nomination” letters was Monday, September 25, 2023.
Further to Transportation District 140 Bylaws article 11.01.08:
There shall be one (1) General Chairperson designated for Technical Operations, Logistics and Supply in the Central Region. This designated General Chairperson shall be nominated by and elected by only those members who are employed in Technical Operations and Logistical Supply at Air Canada, Air Transat and Field Aviation in the Central Region. Members represented by this designated General Chairperson are not eligible to vote for the designated service, the designated Airport screener or the designated Air Canada General Chairpersons. They are eligible to vote for all Central Region At Large General Chairpersons.
There will be elections on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 for the Service Designated Central Region General Chairperson position.

Members represented by this designated TOLS General Chairperson are not eligible to vote for the designated Service, the designated Airport Screener or the designated Air Canada General Chairpersons.
They are eligible to vote for the Central Region AT-Large General Chairpersons position.
