YYZ & YOW – UPCOMING Q&A SESSIONS AIR CANADA CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS

Brothers and Sisters,
As many of you are aware, contract negotiations with Air Canada have reached an impasse. Your Union has formally filed for conciliation with the Federal Labour Board.
With that step, a lot of members have been reaching out with questions about what this means, what comes next, and where things are headed.
I’ve recently returned to Toronto after bargaining in Montreal, and I’ll be coming directly to the floor this week. It is my intention to visit all departments on multiple shift times to meet with members, walk through the process, and hold open Q&A sessions. To start, I have set the below session times and dates.
Department Visits & Q&A Schedule:
Ramp & Baggage (YYZ) – Monday April 20, 2026 @ 12:30pm to 3:00pm
Cargo (YYZ) – Monday April 20, 2026 @ 3:30pm to 5:00pm
Cabins/Training (YYZ) – Monday April 20, 2026 @ 5:15pm to 6:15pm
Ottawa (YOW) – Ramp/ Baggage/ Cargo/Tech Ops – Wednesday April 22, 2026 @ 7:00am to 8:30am
Tech Ops/ Logistics & Supply (YYZ) – Wednesday April 22, 2026 @ 11:00am to 1:00pm
SOC Center (YYZ) – Thursday April 23, 2026 @ 12:30pm to 1:30pm
If you have any questions or want clarity on the path forward, I encourage you to participate in the above visits. We’re at an important stage in bargaining and staying informed matters. Further dates and times will be added in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for details.
