SHARED TRUST VSP SENIORITY CLARIFICATION
Brothers, Sisters, and Siblings,
We want to provide an update regarding the Shared Trust VSP and the seniority used to determine eligibility.
There is a difference in interpretation between the Company and the Union regarding what constitutes union seniority.
We maintain that proper interpretation is necessary to protect the seniority rights of our members. We are collaborating with the employer to determine the correct application.
Any members who may be affected by this potential change of interpretation will have their eligibility reviewed using the correct method. We recognize that any potential correction may be disappointing for members who were previously advised they would receive a VSP, and we understand the impact this change may have on them and their families.
We will share any information as soon as it becomes available.
