ATT: All CABINS IAMAW Members
As we prepare for the upcoming summer bids, the union is committed to ensuring that the scheduling process aligns with the preferences and sentiments of our members. To achieve this, we will be conducting a survey to gather input on preferred scheduling options for 6×3 vs 4×2.
Survey Details: The survey will focus on comparing two potential scheduling models:
- 4 Days On / 2 Days Off
- 6 Days On / 3 Days Off
Your feedback is essential in helping us determine which schedule best meets the needs of our members and supports a balanced work-life dynamic. The results of this survey will directly inform our approach to the summer bids and ensure that we are advocating for a schedule that reflects our member’s preference.
This will not affect any compression shifts at all and we will continue to advocate for the maximum allowable compression numbers as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
How to Participate: The survey will be open on February 5 2025, and close on February 20 2025. We encourage all members to participate.
